ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES
- No. of Polling Stations : 2901
- No. of EVMs required : 5806+ 1163 (reserve) + 140 (training)
- Zero randomization has been done in the form of first level check and stickers are pasted after checking and EVMs @ 10 per constituency were set apart exclusively for training purpose
- Red stickers were pasted on the EVMs set apart for training and the numbers generated by randomization software were given to representatives of recognized political parties after taking proper acknowledgement
- First randomization and Assembly Constituency wise grouping has been done on 26th March 2009 in the presence of representatives of political parties.
- The list of EVMs generated by the first randomization software has been supplied to all Returning Officers/Assistant Returning Officers
- Allocation of ID will be done to all Balloting Units and Control Units.
- Commissioning of EVMs and 2nd randomization by Returning Officers on 16.04.2009.
